The American Kestrel is sometimes called a “windhover” since they have the ability to hover on wind currents. This same kind of compact little falcon like urban environments as well and one used to nest on the Fisher Building in downtown Detroit where I used to work. I’d see it flying around outside the office or sometimes perching on the window sills.Currently in the collection of the artist and available for purchase. Please contact me for more information.
